Front Office Associate - Roles and Responsibilities
1. Guest Services
Welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
Assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Handle guest requests, inquiries, and provide prompt assistance.
2. Front Desk Operations
Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
Maintain accurate guest records and registration cards.
Allocate rooms and issue room keys.
Handle billing, payments, and prepare invoices.
3. Communication & Coordination
Coordinate with housekeeping for room status updates.
Inform other departments about guest needs or special requests.
Answer phone calls and respond to emails professionally.
Maintain clear communication with supervisors and colleagues.
4. Customer Service & Problem Solving
Address guest complaints or issues courteously.
Provide quick and effective solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain a friendly and approachable attitude at all times.
5. Administration & Record Keeping
Maintain daily reports such as occupancy, arrivals, departures, and cash transactions.
Keep the front desk organized and presentable.
Follow hotel policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
6. Safety & Security
Ensure guest information confidentiality.
Follow emergency and safety procedures.
Monitor lobby activities and report any suspicious behavior.
7. Use of Technology
Operate the Property Management System (PMS) for check-in/out and reservations.
Use telephone systems, billing software, and other front office equipment.
Update records accurately in the system.
8. Professional Conduct
Maintain grooming standards and a professional appearance.
Uphold hospitality service standards and hotel values.
Demonstrate good teamwork and cooperation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
