Job Description

Night Shift Front Desk Receptionist ensures smooth overnight operations by handling guest check-ins/outs, managing reservations, answering calls/inquiries, addressing concerns, and performing administrative/security duties like balancing cash, auditing paperwork, and maintaining a secure, tidy lobby for hotels or offices, requiring strong customer service, multitasking, and problem-solving skills for the isolated environment. Key Responsibilities

Guest Services:

Welcome, check-in/out late arrivals, assign rooms, provide info on amenities, handle special requests (wake-up calls, taxis).

Communication:

Answer calls, direct inquiries, take messages, liaise with housekeeping/maintenance.

Administrative Tasks:

Process payments, manage reservations, data entry, file, prepare reports, handle mail/packages.

Security & Operations:

Monitor premises, secure common areas, lock doors, manage guest keys, prepare for morning shift.

Financial Duties:

Balance cash drawer, close accounts, handle credit card transactions.
Essential Skills & Requirements

Experience:

Previous receptionist or hospitality role preferred.

Availability:

Ability to work overnight, weekends, and holidays.

Skills:

Excellent communication, customer service, organization, multitasking, attention to detail, computer proficiency (Hotel Management Systems, MS Office).

Attributes:

Autonomy, responsibility, problem-solving, positive attitude, ability to work independently.
