The Front Office Academic Counselor serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors while guiding prospective learners through their academic and career decisions. This role combines front-office management, academic counseling, and admission support with strong communication and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will be confident, fluent in Tamil and English, and comfortable appearing in marketing videos for social media promotions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Front Office & Guest Relations
Greet and welcome visitors, students, and parents warmly, ensuring a professional and positive first impression.
Handle walk-in and phone inquiries, providing clear and accurate information about courses, schedules, and admissions.
Maintain an organized, presentable, and student-friendly front office environment.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and messages efficiently and record all inquiries in the CRM system.
2. Student Counseling & Course Guidance
Conduct one-on-one consultations with prospective students to understand their academic background and career goals.
Guide students in choosing appropriate medical coding programs suited to their interests.
Provide continuous assistance throughout the admission process, ensuring smooth onboarding.
Follow up with leads through calls and messages to convert inquiries into confirmed admissions.
3. Lead Generation & Admission Support
Assist in achieving branch admission targets through consistent communication and counseling.
Maintain and update leads in the CRM with detailed follow-up records.
Coordinate with the sales and academic teams to ensure student satisfaction and enrollment completion.
4. Orientation & Student Engagement
Support the induction and orientation of new students and parents.
Communicate academic schedules, updates, and upcoming events regularly.
Coordinate between students and departments to resolve queries and provide assistance when required.
5. Marketing & Social Media Coordination
Be comfortable and confident in appearing in Cigma's marketing and promotional videos for social media platforms.
Collaborate with the marketing team for video shoots, campaigns, and brand promotion activities.
Represent Company professionally and positively in all promotional content.
6. Administrative & Coordination Support
Schedule appointments, meetings, and student interactions efficiently.
Assist departments with documentation, data entry, and general office administration.
Generate reports on inquiries, admissions, and counseling outcomes as required.
7. Professional Development
Stay informed about new courses, updates, and institutional offerings.
Participate in training and team meetings to improve communication, sales, and counseling skills.
Candidate Requirements
Education:
Any Graduation
Experience:
6 months - 1 year in counseling, front office, or customer service roles.
Age:
Below 30 years.
Gender:
Female candidates only.
Language Proficiency:
Fluent in
Tamil and English
(both spoken and written).
Preferred Candidate:
Coimbatore localite.

Salary & Benefits
Salary Range:
?15,000 - ?20,000 per month (based on experience and skill set)* Incentives based on admissions performance (achieving target)
