Product Engineer - Frontend - Entri

We're Entri, a fast-growing EdTech startup from Kochi. We're looking for a Frontend Product Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our Product Team. If you've been building production applications and want to take on meaningful ownership, this could be a great fit.

About the Role

You'll be part of a small, high-ownership frontend team building Entri's web platform, used by millions of learners preparing for government exams, upskilling, and accessing expert-led courses in multiple Indian languages. We ship fast, run experiments constantly, and care deeply about performance and user experience.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain features across our Next.js/React web application Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver polished user experiences Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews Optimize application performance for users across varying network conditions and devices Contribute to technical decisions and help improve our development practices Debug and resolve issues across the stack when needed

Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript Experience with Next.js or similar React frameworks Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design Familiarity with state management patterns and API integration Comfortable with Git and collaborative development workflows Good debugging skills and attention to detail Good understanding of web performance optimization

Nice to Have

Experience with automated testing (unit/integration tests) Exposure to CI/CD pipelines Interest in or experience with mobile web or PWAs Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
