: "Skills and Experience: o Functional JavaScript o React o Redux o TypeScript o Styled Components o React-testing-library o REST APIs o Azure DevOps/VSTS experience - creating/operating CI/CD build and release pipelines o Experience with Cloud-based software, specifically Microsoft Azure o Experience of Agile Project Delivery techniques (e.g. Scrum, Kanban). o Good knowledge and practical experience of software design principles and basic patterns o Experience and knowledge of auto software deployment technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Docker, Git) o Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 8+ years of relevant development experience in above skills mandatory Role Overview Software Engineer is an individual with proven experience in in adhering to software engineering best practices, delivering software products/applications generating business value. They are expected to have continuous improvement mindset, driving value-based process, product/application optimization. The ideal candidate is able to work as part of a global team with a strong track record working within an energy trading business. Key accountabilities include: o Build web applications using modern tools such as React, Typescript, CSS, Jest/Vitest, Webpack, Ag Grid. o Experienced with modern JavaScript coding, testing, debugging and automation techniques o Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills o User-centric mindset, you care deeply about performances, accessibility, and the overall user experience o A champion of the benefits that CI / CD provide to Product builds o Exposure to back-end technologies such as APIs, databases, cloud services, and infrastructure o Solution consultation and development in accordance to the enterprise technology principles, methods, standards, and practices. o Estimation, solution design, detailed technical design, application technical deliverables including code, associated tests and documentation. o Contribution to functional excellence in terms of definition and maintenance of standards, methods and tools, bringing in best practices from market standard implementations. o Manage complex integration scenarios and interfaces between on-premise solutions, cloud .
