Design, build, and maintain high quality responsive, mobile - first applications for the web Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements Translate designs and wireframes into clean and efficient, high performance, reusable, and reliable code Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and improve usability Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability Performing unit tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, rectifying bugs and enhancing application performance Implement responsive web design principles to ensure that websites render well across multiple devices Determining the structure and design of web pages Developing and maintaining the user interface, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design Optimizing the user experience Work with outside data sources and APIs Monitor website performance, watch for traffic drops related to site usability problems and rectify the issues Assist in the development of applications and features that will be put on the website and in internal functions as well

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or a related subject Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect frontend applications to backend services Familiarity with browser testing and debugging Working knowledge of the general web landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Familiarity with continuous integration is a plus Understanding of key design principles and layout aesthetics Experience with responsive and adaptive design In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment) Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and content management systems is a plus Knowledge of SEO principles

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
