We are looking for a professional, well-presented, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team in Chennai. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, the Receptionist will play a vital role in creating a positive impression of the company. This role also involves providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Warmly welcome and direct visitors to the appropriate department or personnel.
Manage incoming calls courteously, providing accurate information or taking messages as required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and organization area.
Ensure office security by following safety protocols and controlling access through the reception desk.
Handle all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services.5
Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing office supplies, and handling correspondence.
Maintain and organize records, databases, and filing systems (both electronic and physical).
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and official documents.
Coordinate meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and company events.
Coordinate and oversee housekeeping staff to ensure office cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained.
Monitor overall office activities and ensure compliance with company policies.
Perform additional administrative or special tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Office Administration (preferred).
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with standard office equipment.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing schedules.
Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Knowledge of customer service principles and best practices.
