The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for managing the reception area, greeting visitors, handling calls, and providing administrative support. The role ensures a positive first impression and smooth front-office operations.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries
Maintain visitor records and issue entry passes
Handle appointment scheduling and meeting coordination
Receive, sort, and distribute mail and courier deliveries
Maintain front desk area cleanliness and organization
Assist with basic administrative tasks and data entry
Coordinate with internal departments when required
Handle customer queries and provide accurate information
Required Skills & Qualifications
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Presentable personality with a professional attitude
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email handling)
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Polite, patient, and customer-oriented approach
Education & Experience
Graduate or 12th pass (depending on organization requirement)
1-3 years of experience as a receptionist or front-office executive preferred
Working Conditions
Day shift / rotational shifts (as applicable)
Office / hotel front desk environment
