Receptionist
to be the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors.
Job Summary:
The Hospital Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming front-desk experience. This position requires excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to manage patient check-ins, direct inquiries, and support administrative functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures.
Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and route calls to appropriate departments.
Schedule appointments and confirm upcoming visits.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and data entry.
Assist with billing, co-pays, and insurance verification when required.
Monitor the waiting area and ensure it is clean and welcoming.
Coordinate with medical and administrative staff for efficient workflow.
Handle confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and hospital policies.
Perform other clerical and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Graduate degree (Bachelor's degree in any field is preferred).
Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
Multilingual skills (if applicable) are a plus.

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
