The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and clients. This role is responsible for creating a professional and welcoming environment while managing front desk operations, calls, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
Manage appointment scheduling and meeting room bookings
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Maintain front desk cleanliness and organization
Provide basic administrative support (data entry, filing, copying)
Coordinate with internal departments as needed
Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes
Handle general inquiries and provide accurate information
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to multitask and work independently
Professional appearance and attitude
Preferred Skills
Experience with phone systems and scheduling software
Basic knowledge of office administration procedures
