Job Summary:
We are looking for a
well-spoken, patient-friendly Receptionist
to manage front desk operations at our
Eye Hospital
. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, responsible for handling appointments, guiding patients, and ensuring smooth coordination between departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Manage patient registration, appointment scheduling, and billing coordination.
Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and guide patients regarding services or doctors' availability.
Maintain accurate patient and visitor records.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and optical staff for smooth patient flow.
Manage token systems and ensure minimum waiting time for patients.
Handle payment receipts and maintain cash records (if required).
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
Ensure confidentiality of patient information and records.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Excellent communication skills in English and local language (TAMIL).
Pleasant personality and good patient-handling attitude.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Hospital Management Software preferred).
Strong multitasking, coordination, and time-management abilities.
Prior experience in
eye hospitals or healthcare front office
is an added advantage.
Educational Qualification:
Any Graduate (preferably in Administration, Customer Service, or Healthcare Management).
