To coordinate between the patient and other departments of the center, by maintaining an effective communication and registration procedures

Job Responsibilities:



1. To receive patient, relatives, guest with smile and courtesy

2. To assist patient to settle down in a convenient place

3. To identify the details of the referral doctor

4. To contact the referral doctor if details are inadequate

5. To assist and complete registration formalities

6. To know the patients need and to detail the procedure and cost of procedure

7. To guide the patient to the concerned department with care and to provide any assistance as per the patients need

8. To Coordinate and brief the concerned department about the patient

9. To give a realistic time to the patient, relatives on the dispatch of reports

10. To coordinate and take responsibility for the preparation and dispatch of reports on time

11. To identify the mode of payment

12. Careful handling of cash and maintaining the record of cash, credit and dues

13. Cash, bills, bill summary to be carefully handed over to the accounts department

14. To provide weekly, monthly reports to the concerned departments

15. To investigate periodical working condition of all equipment's

16. To guide, arrange travel, accommodation facility to patients esp. for outstation patients

17. To answer phone calls within the shortest time

18. To wish the patient, relatives, guest and giving details of the department identity, self and offer help

19. To be polite, having smile in your voice and add warmth to make the caller feel wanted

20. Listen until the caller completes his sentence, do not interrupt

21. Ask relevant questions to find the patient need

22. To take message, name, contact number if patients are to be reached with more information

23. Wait for the caller to disconnect the call

24. To salute the patient, relatives, guest with Mr/Miss/Mrs/Sir/Madam

25. To complete all conversation or query with Thanks
