The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors at Awish Clinic. This role involves managing front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth administrative processes. The Receptionist will maintain a welcoming environment and efficiently handle inquiries, appointments, and communications.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Management
Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Manage the reception area to ensure a tidy and organized workspace.
Handle inquiries, both in-person and over the phone, providing accurate information about clinic services and policies.
Appointment Coordination
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using the clinic's management system.
Ensure minimal wait times by effectively managing patient flow.
Patient Assistance
Assist patients in completing registration forms and other required documentation.
Collect and verify patient details, including insurance and billing information.
Administrative Duties
Maintain and update patient records in the clinic's database.
Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
Process payments and issue receipts, ensuring accurate records for billing and accounting.
Coordination and Communication
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient patient care.
Communicate any delays or issues promptly to patients and staff.
Compliance and Confidentiality
Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures, particularly regarding patient confidentiality (e.g., HIPAA compliance if applicable).
Maintain a secure and confidential filing system for sensitive documents.
