Role and Core Responsibilities
The Front Desk Executive is responsible for managing the guest experience from arrival to departure, ensuring efficient operation of the front office, and contributing to the overall satisfaction of all guests at Dwija Inn.
Guest Services & Check-in/Check-out:
Greet all guests with a warm welcome and professional demeanor upon arrival.
Efficiently perform guest check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy in billing and documentation.
Assign rooms and process payment transactions (cash, credit card, or digital payments).
Handle key control and ensure guest privacy and security.
Reservations Management:
Manage room reservations through the Property Management System (PMS), phone, email, and walk-ins.
Confirm, modify, and cancel reservations, and upsell rooms and hotel services where appropriate.
Communication & Information:
Answer the main telephone line, direct calls, and take messages accurately.
Provide accurate information about the Inn's facilities, services, local attractions in Hyderabad, and dining options.
Handle guest mail, messages, and wake-up call requests.
Issue Resolution:
Listen to and promptly address guest complaints and concerns, escalating complex issues to the Front Office Manager when necessary to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
Administrative & Financial Duties:
Maintain a neat and organized front desk area.
Perform basic end-of-day audit tasks and balance daily transactions.
Maintain records of occupancy, services, and guest preferences.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience working in a Front Office or Guest Relations role within the Hospitality Industry (Hotel, Inn, or Resort).
Education: A diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
Communication: Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a strong command of English and fluency in a regional language (Telugu/Hindi) is a major advantage.
