Position Title: Key Account Manager- Chain Schools
Location: Flexible (Delhi NCR preferred)

Role Overview:
Rex Shoes is seeking a Key Account Manager to lead the onboarding and management of
large-format school groups across India. The role is focused on driving national institutional
sales growth by securing centralized partnerships with school chains and enabling
multi-branch order rollouts. This individual will play a critical role in expanding Rex's
presence in the education ecosystem and building long-term, recurring revenue
relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting & Outreach
? Identify and build a qualified pipeline of school chains with multi-branch presence
? Initiate contact with senior stakeholders (Trusts, COOs, Directors, Purchase Heads)
2. Pitching & Onboarding
? Prepare customized presentations and sampling plans for each school group
? Lead pricing, commercial discussions, and vendor registration processes
? Drive conversions from interest to account sign-up within 4-6 weeks
3. Order Conversion & Lifecycle Management
? Push for first bulk order closures post-onboarding
? Monitor repeat order cycles, refill demand, and cross-branch expansion
? Coordinate internally with dispatch, production, and customer service teams for
order execution
4. Strategic Account Management
? Serve as the single point of contact for all chain accounts
? Maintain updated CRM records (Zoho) for engagement, status, and feedback
? Track NPS, satisfaction metrics, and generate cross-sell/upsell opportunities
Ideal Candidate Profile
Education
Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related fields
Experience
7-10 years in B2B, EdTech, or institutional sales, preferably in sectors such as school
supplies, uniforms, learning aids, healthcare, or FMCG with school tie-ups
Industry Familiarity
Direct experience in engaging with school chains or national institutional accounts is strongly
preferred
Skills & Attributes
? Strong written and verbal communication skills
? Proven ability to manage CXO-level stakeholders and negotiate high-value contracts
? Self-starter with high ownership and strong follow-through
? Familiarity with CRM tools and funnel tracking systems
Success KPIs
? Onboarding of 5-7 school chains within the first year
? Driving annual order volume of 40,000+ pairs through chain accounts
? Achieving 60-70% refill rate from onboarded branches
? Maintaining 100% CRM hygiene and sales funnel visibility
Compensation Structure
Fixed Salary: ₹70,000-?75,000/month
Performance-Based Incentives: Up to 100% of fixed salary, linked to number of chains
onboarded, order value, and refill performance
Other Benefits: Travel allowance, performance-linked recognition, and long-term career
growth in the national institutional sales vertical
