Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Register new patients and update existing patient information in the hospital system.
Guide patients about consulting rooms, billing, diagnostics, and other hospital services.
Appointment & Scheduling
Manage doctor appointment schedules (OPD & Procedures).
Confirm, reschedule, and follow up on appointments.
Coordinate with nursing staff and doctors to ensure minimal waiting time.
Front Desk Operations
Handle incoming calls, enquiries, and provide accurate information about hospital services.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.
Manage the queue system to ensure smooth patient flow.
Billing & Documentation Support
Support billing/cashier team with basic data entry when required.
Ensure accurate documentation of patient files, consents, and reports.
Maintain registers and logs as per hospital protocols (visitor log, appointment log, etc.).
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with departments such as Nursing, Diagnostics, Pharmacy, OPD, and TPA/Billing.
Communicate delays or changes in doctor availability to patients promptly.
Customer Experience & Patient Handling
Handle patient concerns professionally and escalate issues to the supervisor.
Ensure patients' needs (e.g., wheelchair assistance) are attended promptly.
Provide empathetic support to patients undergoing urology treatments and procedures.
Compliance & Hospital Protocols
Follow hygiene, confidentiality, and safety standards of the hospital.
Adhere to hospital SOPs and ensure compliance with NABH requirements if applicable.
