1. Extend a friendly and welcoming greeting to visitors and maintain a clean and tidy reception area 2. Answer incoming telephone calls, emails, and messages and reply to or redirect them 3. Set up meetings and update calendars 4. Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office 5. Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures) 6. Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email 7. Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries 8. Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges) 9. Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock 10. Keep updated records of office expenses and costs 11. Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
