The Front Desk In charge will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external stakeholders. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills to ensure smooth day-to-day front office operations and create a welcoming environment that reflects the school's values.
Key Responsibilities
Front Office Management
Greet and assist parents, visitors, and students in a professional manner.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, and route them to the appropriate departments.
Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy, organized, and presentable.
Administrative Support
Manage student attendance records, visitor logs, and front office registers.
Handle courier, post, and distribution of school communication materials.
Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings for school leadership.
Parent & Visitor Coordination
Address parent queries promptly and professionally.
Guide visitors on school processes, facilities, and policies.
Support the admissions/enquiry process by providing initial information.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure visitor entry protocols and ID verification are followed.
Support safety drills and emergency communication procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of school records and information.
Key Skills & Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English, Hindi & Marathi)
Strong interpersonal and customer service orientation.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Administration, Hospitality, or related fields).
2-4 years of experience in front desk / reception / customer service (experience in CBSE school is an added advantage).
Knowledge of school operations or prior experience in handling parent interactions will be an asset.
Work Schedule
Full-time - 8 am to 4pm.
Occasional extended hours during admissions, events, or parent-teacher meetings.
Salary Range
- Starting from 22k (Depends on the rounds of interviews, relevant experience)
