We are seeking a professional and patient-oriented Front Desk Assistant with a Bachelor's degree in Hospital Management (BHM)
and at
least 1 year of relevant experience
in a hospital or healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience while providing essential front desk and administrative support services.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients, visitors with courtesy, professionalism, and empathy.
Manage patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using hospital management systems.
Verify patient identity, insurance details, and collect necessary documents or pre-authorizations.
Handle incoming phone calls, route calls to appropriate departments, and respond to inquiries.
Maintain up-to-date records and manage front desk documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
Provide patients with information regarding hospital services, procedures, and facility locations.
Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical departments to ensure seamless patient flow and service delivery.
Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and hospital privacy policies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting lounge.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Hospital Management (BHM) from a recognized institution is mandatory.
Experience:
Minimum
1 year of experience
in a front office, receptionist, or administrative role within a hospital or healthcare environment.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
