Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in developing and maintaining
Roku (OTT) applications
Work with
BrightScript
and
SceneGraph
(training/support will be provided)
Support integration of APIs, video streaming, and UI components
Debug and fix issues in Roku applications
Collaborate with QA, designers, and senior developers
Learn OTT workflows, media players, and streaming protocols
Required Skills
Basic programming knowledge in
any language
(C / C++ / Java / Python preferred)
Understanding of
OOP concepts
Basic knowledge of
JSON, REST APIs
Familiarity with
HTML, CSS, JavaScript
(basic understanding)
Willingness to learn
BrightScript and Roku SceneGraph
Good to Have
Knowledge of
OTT / Streaming concepts
Understanding of
video streaming protocols
(HLS, DASH - basic)
Academic or internship projects related to app development
