Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Creating Technical Drawings:

Developing precise and accurate 2D and 3D models and drawings using AutoCAD.

Collaboration and Communication:

Working closely with engineers, architects, project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and design specifications.

Reviewing and Interpreting Documents:

Analyzing architectural and engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications to ensure designs are accurate and meet project needs.

Ensuring Compliance:

Ensuring that all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Maintaining Documentation:

Organizing and managing drawing files, project documentation, and revision histories.

Revising and Updating Drawings:

Incorporating feedback and design changes into existing drawings.

Quality Assurance:

Conducting quality checks to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to standards.

Project Support:

Providing support to production teams during the fabrication or construction process.

Staying Updated:

Keeping abreast of the latest AutoCAD software updates, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in AutoCAD:

Demonstrated experience and expertise in using AutoCAD software for 2D and 3D modeling.

Technical Drawing Skills:

Strong understanding of drafting principles, standards, and symbols.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to analyze and resolve design issues, interpret project documents, and adapt to changing requirements.

Attention to Detail:

A meticulous approach to ensure accuracy and precision in drawings.

Education:

Typically, a diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, or a related field.
