Job Description

A Mechanical Engineering fresher in fabrication assists in the

manufacturing, cutting, welding, assembly, and finishing

of metal components and structures, while ensuring quality, safety, and drawing compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in

fabrication of metal parts and structures

Read and understand

fabrication drawings & blueprints

Support

cutting, bending, welding, and fitting operations

Assist in

MIG, TIG, ARC welding

processes Help in

material handling and inventory tracking

Perform

dimensional inspection

using vernier caliper, micrometer, etc. Maintain

workshop safety and 5S standards

Prepare

daily production and quality reports

Required Skills (Fresher Level)

Technical Skills

Basics of

fabrication processes

Knowledge of

welding symbols & joints

Understanding of

MS, SS, aluminum materials

Basic measuring instruments AutoCAD (basic - preferred)

Soft Skills

Willingness to work on shop floor Team coordination Quick learner Safety-focused attitude
