Job Summary

A

Junior Laboratory Chemist

assists with routine lab work, analytical testing, and quality control under the supervision of senior chemists. You will help carry out chemical analyses, prepare samples and reagents, maintain accurate records, and ensure lab safety and compliance with standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

sampling and testing

of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Conduct

routine chemical and physical analyses

, such as moisture, pH, protein, titration, etc.

Prepare standard solutions, samples, and reagents

for laboratory use.

Operate, calibrate, and maintain

laboratory instruments and equipment. I Maintain

accurate lab records, test reports, and documentation

according to SOPs. Indeed Assist with

quality control (QC)

tasks and

compliance

with safety and quality protocols Follow

health, safety, and environmental procedures

in all lab activities Support senior chemists in troubleshooting, sample evaluation, and data analysis. Maintain a

clean and organized laboratory environment.

Report problems

or deviations to supervisors and participate in lab audits or inspections.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in

Chemistry

, Biochemistry, Chemical Technology, or a related science field.

Experience:

0-2 years of lab experience (fresh graduates with lab exposure are often eligible). Basic understanding of

analytical techniques

and lab safety.

Attention to detail

and strong

organizational skills

. Ability to follow

standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Good communication and teamwork skills.
