Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with strong experience in welding automation, power systems, and electrical controls to support core welding operations. The role involves maintaining and improving welding equipment, ensuring stable electrical performance, supporting automation initiatives, and working closely with the production and maintenance teams to ensure consistent weld quality and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Design, monitor, and maintain electrical systems and control circuits used in welding machines (MIG/TIG/Spot/Arc/Laser). Troubleshoot electrical and automation issues in welding equipment to reduce downtime and improve performance. Support setup, calibration, and programming of welding controllers, PLCs, and power sources. Ensure the proper functioning of welding transformers, rectifiers, inverters, and power distribution systems. Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to optimize welding parameters, equipment performance, and safety. Review and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, and control panel designs. Assist in the selection, installation, and commissioning of new welding machines, robots, and automation modules. Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards (IEC, NEC, ISO, OSHA) and welding-related standards (AWS/ISO). Analyze machine data to identify performance issues and recommend technical improvements. Support integration of sensors, instrumentation, and monitoring systems for quality and process control.
