Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated

Accounts Associate (Fresher)

to join our Settlements & Collections team. This role is ideal for someone beginning their career in accounts, finance, or billing and eager to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, reconciliations, payment tracking, and customer coordination in US Accounting

You will be responsible for assisting in daily settlement activities, ensuring accurate collections, maintaining financial records, and coordinating with internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Track pending payments and follow up with clients/customers for timely collections.

Assist in preparing settlement reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

Reconcile payments received with outstanding dues.

Update and maintain collection trackers, billing sheets, and records.

support the finance team in basic accounting tasks.

Match invoices vs. payments and ensure entries are recorded accurately.

Assist in maintaining ledgers and verifying transactional data.

Help prepare reports for management review.

Coordinate with internal departments (sales, operations, warehouse, logistics) for payment-related queries.

Maintain proper documentation for settlements and collections.

Address customer queries professionally and promptly.

Prepare daily MIS reports and share updates with the team lead.

Skills Required

Good communication and coordination skills.

Basic understanding of accounting principles (preferred). Accrual Accounting, Journal Entries.

Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial data.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
