Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Language Teacher with a Graduate degree and B.Ed qualification to join our CBSE-affiliated school in New Town, Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have excellent command of the French language and be fluent in English, with a strong grasp of pedagogical practices suited to a CBSE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach French to students following the CBSE curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments aligned with the CBSE board standards. Use innovative and engaging teaching methods to promote language proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback. Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Graduate degree . B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory. Fluency in both French and English is essential. Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum and pedagogy. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Passion for teaching and commitment to student development. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with online teaching tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

DELF/DALF certification in French preferred. Prior teaching experience in a CBSE school setting. Ability to contribute to extracurricular activities (e.g., language clubs, cultural events).
