We are seeking a passionate and experienced French language teacher to join our team. As a French language teacher, you will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment for students of various ages and proficiency levels. Your primary goal will be to help students develop their French language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing as the students have opted for their 2nd Language through interactive and communicative activities.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of students. Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies and materials to make lessons engaging and effective. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills. Create a supportive and encouraging learning atmosphere that promotes student participation and confidence. Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, tests, and other assessment tools. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and any concerns. Stay updated on best practices in language teaching and incorporate new techniques and resources into lessons. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall language learning program.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in French, Education, Linguistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Native or near-native proficiency in French. Previous experience teaching French as a second language to students of varying ages and proficiency levels. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching. Familiarity with language teaching methodologies and techniques. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Certification in teaching French as a second language (e.g., DELF, DALF, TESOL, CELTA) is a plus.
