Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced French Language Teacher to teach students as per the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will possess strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and a passion for teaching languages to school students. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing French lessons in a dynamic and engaging way.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach French to students in accordance with the CBSE syllabus and guidelines. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and activities. Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student performance and provide feedback. Foster an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that promotes language learning. Prepare students for internal assessments, periodic tests, and board examinations (if applicable). Maintain up-to-date records of student progress and attendance. Collaborate with other language and subject teachers to support cross-curricular learning. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development workshops. Promote interest in French culture and language through extracurricular activities (e.g., French Day, language clubs).

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in French Language, Literature, or a related field (mandatory). B.Ed. degree (preferred as per CBSE norms). DELF/DALF certification is an added advantage. Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school preferred. Excellent communication skills in both French and English.

Skills Required:

Strong command over spoken and written French. Good classroom management and lesson planning skills. Familiarity with CBSE assessment and teaching methodology. Technologically proficient with smart-class tools and online teaching platforms. Passionate about teaching and mentoring young learners.
