Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to teach students from Grade 8 to 10. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that develop students proficiency in French language and appreciation of French culture. The role requires strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management, and the ability to use innovative teaching strategies to support diverse learners.Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver French lessons aligned with the school curriculum and academic standards. Teach reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in French. Introduce students to French culture, literature, and traditions. Develop lesson plans that incorporate interactive methods, technology, and real-life applications. Assess, record, and report on students progress through assignments, projects, and examinations. Provide individualized support and feedback to students to help them achieve language proficiency. Organize and conduct French-related co-curricular activities such as debates, role-plays, language clubs, and cultural events. Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students' progress and areas of improvement. Stay updated with current teaching methodologies and educational trends in language learning.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's / Master's degree in French Language, Literature, or related field. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred. Fluency in French (spoken and written); strong command of English for communication. Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at middle or high school level (preferred). Knowledge of curriculum standards (CBSE/ICSE/IB/IGCSE - as applicable). Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Ability to motivate and inspire students. Familiarity with educational technology tools and digital learning platforms.
