Key Responsibilities

Curriculum & Lesson Planning:

Design and implement engaging, CBSE-aligned French lessons, incorporating interactive activities, multimedia, and potentially AI tools.

Language Instruction:

Develop proficiency in all four skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing) through immersive practices and varied strategies.

Assessment & Feedback:

Evaluate student progress via tests, assignments, and oral work, providing constructive feedback and reporting to parents.

Classroom Management:

Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined environment that encourages participation.

Cultural Integration:

Introduce French culture, traditions, and geography to provide a holistic understanding.

Collaboration:

Work with other teachers for interdisciplinary connections and attend parent-teacher meetings.

Professional Development:

Stay updated on new teaching methodologies and language advancements

Essential Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Bachelor's/Master's in French, Linguistics, or Education.

Proficiency:

Native or near-native French fluency (DELF B2/C1 level often preferred).

Certification:

DELF/DALF certification is a significant plus.

Experience:

Previous French teaching experience in CBSE or similar schools.

Skills:

Strong instructional design, assessment, intercultural communication, classroom management, and use of educational technology.
