Job Posting: Remote French Instructor (Part-Time)

We are currently hiring a motivated and experienced

French Instructor

to deliver high-quality language instruction in a fully remote setting. This role is ideal for instructors with experience or interest in preparing students for standardized French language proficiency tests, including

TEF

and

TCF

.

: Fully Remote

Compensation

: Pay is based on the number of enrolled students per month

Schedule

: Flexible, with class times based on the availability of Canadian students (primarily evenings and weekends in Canadian time zones)

Key Responsibilities

:

Teach French language lessons online to students of varying skill levels Focus on preparing students for

TEF (Test d'Evaluation de Francais)

and

TCF (Test de Connaissance du Francais)

exams Create or adapt lesson plans and materials that follow TEF and TCF formats (listening, reading, speaking, and writing modules) Track student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching strategies as needed Maintain a supportive, engaging virtual classroom environment

Qualifications

:

Native or near-native fluency in French Proven experience teaching French, preferably online Familiarity with the TEF and TCF exam formats and evaluation criteria Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex grammar concepts clearly Ability to work during Canadian student hours (evenings/weekends in EST/CST/PST) Reliable internet connection and proficiency with virtual teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)

Preferred

:

Experience specifically with TEF/TCF exam prep Certification in French language teaching (e.g., FLE, DAEFLE, B.Ed. in French) Ability to handle small group classes and one-on-one coaching
