Job Description

We are looking for a

results-driven Sales Executive

to join our Freight Forwarding & Logistics team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a

proven track record in business development

, client acquisition, and revenue generation in

sea & air freight forwarding services

.

This role is

not operations-focused

- we are seeking candidates with

direct sales experience

in logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new business opportunities in

Tamil Nadu & South India market

for freight forwarding (Air, Sea, Import, Export). Identify and acquire new clients, build a strong customer base. Maintain and grow existing customer accounts through

relationship management

. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets in freight forwarding and CHA services. Work closely with Operations & Documentation teams to ensure smooth service delivery. Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations. Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory: 5+ years in Freight Forwarding / CHA / Logistics Sales

(Air/Sea)
Proven track record of

client acquisition & revenue achievement

Strong network of

importers/exporters, CHA agents, manufacturers, and traders

in Tamil Nadu
Excellent negotiation & communication skills (English + Tamil)
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets

Preferred Background

Prior experience in

companies like DHL, Schenker, K+N, Agility, CEVA, Kerry Indev, Jeena, Allcargo, or mid-sized freight forwarders

. Experience handling

SME & corporate clients

in Chennai/Ennore/Tuticorin belt. Candidates from

operations-only background
