Monday to Friday

About the Role:

As a Freight Broker, you will act as a link between shippers and carriers to coordinate freight shipments efficiently. You'll be responsible for negotiating rates, booking loads, and ensuring successful load completion with maximum profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and book loads with carriers through load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.) Maintain strong relationships with both carriers and customers. Negotiate rates to achieve target margins ($1500-$2000+ per month). Track loads and resolve any delivery or documentation issues. Maintain records, invoices, and shipment details accurately. Ensure timely communication with clients and team members.

Requirements:

Minimum

2 years of experience

as a Freight Broker/Dispatcher (US Logistics). Proven record of achieving or exceeding profit/margin targets. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced night-shift environment. Familiarity with load boards and TMS systems.
