Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced

Freight Broker

to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating freight shipments between shippers and carriers, negotiating competitive rates, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain relationships with shippers, carriers, and vendors Source and secure carriers to move freight on time and at competitive rates Negotiate rates with carriers and prepare rate confirmations Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery Resolve issues such as delays, damages, or cancellations efficiently Meet or exceed sales and profit margin targets Stay updated on industry regulations, market conditions, and rate trends Provide outstanding customer service and respond promptly to inquiries

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Freight Broker, Logistics Coordinator, or similar role Strong knowledge of transportation industry standards and practices Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to build strong carrier and customer relationships Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
