Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Source and manage freight carriers and develop long-term relationships with them. Negotiate competitive rates with carriers and ensure timely shipments. Coordinate with shippers and carriers to arrange pickup and delivery schedules. Monitor shipments in transit and provide real-time updates to clients. Resolve shipment issues such as delays, damages, or route changes promptly. Maintain accurate records of freight transactions, rates, and contracts. Meet weekly and monthly freight volume and revenue targets.

Requirements:

Minimum

6 months of experience

in US freight brokerage or logistics operations. Knowledge of the US transportation market and freight brokerage processes. Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with freight management software is a plus. Willingness to work flexible hours if required for US time zones.
