About the Role:

We are seeking a driven and experienced

Freight Broker

with an

active book of business

to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong industry connections, and is ready to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and grow your existing book of business. Identify and secure new clients and carriers to expand freight opportunities. Negotiate rates and service agreements with customers and carriers. Schedule and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues. Maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers to ensure long-term partnerships. Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to stay competitive. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

Minimum

12 months of experience

as a Freight Broker or in a similar logistics role.

Active book of business/shippers

(required). Experience handling freight across

multiple equipment types

:

Flatbed

Reefer (Refrigerated)

Dry Van

LTL (Less Than Truckload)

Drayage(Port/Rail)

Strong understanding of the freight brokerage process(OTR/Drayage), logistics, and transportation industry. Proven track record of sales and customer retention. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Familiarity with TMS (Transportation Management Systems),DAT, CRM & other Logistics tools.
