The Freight Broker is responsible for coordinating the movement of goods for shippers and carriers, negotiating rates, managing transportation logistics, and ensuring a smooth end-to-end freight process. This role requires strong communication, relationship building, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1-3+ years of freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation experience (preferred).
Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple loads and relationships simultaneously.
Experience with TMS software and load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop).
Excellent problem-solving and time-management abilities.

Monthly load volume
Gross profit per load / margin
Carrier and customer satisfaction
On-time pickup and delivery rates
New customer acquisition

Base salary.
