As a Freight Broker at

Cargo Solution Brokerage

, you will be responsible for managing the transportation of goods for our clients utilizing the company's asset-backed capacity. This role requires strong negotiation skills, operational coordination, and proactive communication to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective freight movement. You will serve as a key point of contact between carriers and customers while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Negotiate competitive freight rates with carriers while maximizing value for clients Schedule, coordinate, and dispatch shipments to ensure timely pickup and delivery Track and monitor shipments throughout transit to ensure on-time performance Proactively resolve transit-related issues, including delays, damages, or service disruptions Communicate regularly with clients, providing shipment updates and addressing questions or concerns Maintain accurate and detailed records of shipments, rates, and transactions Ensure compliance with all applicable transportation laws, regulations, and company policies Collaborate with internal teams to meet operational goals and improve service efficiency

Qualifications

Knowledge of logistics and transportation operations (preferred) Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shipments simultaneously Understanding of transportation regulations and industry best practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems (TMS) Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred)
