Freelance Script Writer

who can bring stories to life.

Role Overview

As a Freelance Script Writer, you will be responsible for crafting

engaging, emotional, and impactful scripts

that elevate wedding and event experiences. Your scripts will play a key role in ceremonies, performances, films, presentations, and brand narratives.

Key Responsibilities

Write

wedding ceremony scripts

, including welcome notes, couple stories, vow frameworks, and family segments Develop

event flow scripts

for emcees, anchors, and hosts Create

concept-based scripts

for sangeet performances, themed events, and special segments Write

voice-over scripts

for wedding films, teaser videos, and after-movies Draft scripts for

corporate events

, including opening addresses, leadership speeches, award nights, and conferences Collaborate closely with the

creative, production, and client servicing teams

to align scripts with the event vision Adapt tone and language based on event style--traditional, modern, luxury, emotional, or high-energy

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in

script writing, content writing, or storytelling

Strong command over

English

(knowledge of Hindi / Hinglish is a plus) Ability to write

emotion-driven narratives

with cultural sensitivity Understanding of

Indian wedding traditions and ceremonies

preferred Creative mindset with strong attention to detail Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple briefs Prior experience in

events, weddings, films, media, or advertising

is an advantage
