Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

Next.js & Medusa.js Freelancer

who can take ownership of end-to-end web development projects. The role involves

planning tasks, assigning work to the in-house team, reviewing progress, and ensuring timely project completion

. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise along with project coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead development using

Next.js (frontend)

and

Medusa.js (backend/headless commerce)

. Break down project requirements into

clear, actionable tasks

. Assign tasks to the

in-house development team

and provide technical guidance. Review code quality, performance, and best practices. Ensure

on-time delivery

of milestones and final project output. Coordinate with designers, SEO, and marketing teams for smooth execution. Optimize applications for

performance, scalability, and SEO

. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Maintain proper documentation and handover notes.
Required Skills

Strong experience with

Next.js (SSR, SSG, App Router)

Hands-on experience with

Medusa.js (custom services, plugins, APIs)

Proficiency in

JavaScript / TypeScript

Experience in

headless commerce architecture

Strong understanding of

REST APIs & backend integration

Knowledge of

SEO-friendly rendering & Core Web Vitals

Experience in

Git, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows

Project & Team Management Skills

Ability to

plan sprints and timelines

Experience in

task assignment and progress tracking

Strong communication and coordination skills Proven track record of

meeting deadlines

in freelance projects
Preferred Skills

Experience with

e-commerce, healthcare, or wellness platforms

Familiarity with

Docker, cloud deployment, and hosting

Understanding of

security and performance optimization
