Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented freelance video editor to produce engaging short-form video content, primarily Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, trendy editing skills, and the ability to create scroll-stopping content tailored for digital audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging reels and short-form videos. Add transitions, effects, music, captions, and graphics as per brand guidelines. Stay updated with social media trends, editing styles, and viral formats. Optimize content for Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms. Collaborate with the creative/marketing team to bring concepts to life. Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining quality.

Requirements:

Proven experience in video editing (reels/shorts portfolio required). Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar). Knowledge of aspect ratios, resolutions, and formats for different platforms. Creative mindset with strong storytelling and visual sense. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have:

Basic graphic design/motion graphics skills. Understanding of social media algorithms and audience engagement.

Compensation:

Project-based basis (to be discussed as per experience & quality).
