Role Overview:

We're looking for a part-time social media manager who understands short-form content and visual branding. This role involves creating reels, maintaining the overall look of our Instagram and Facebook pages, and contributing ideas to improve our marketing approach. This is a hands-on execution role with room for creative input.

Key Responsibilities:

Create

engaging, brand-aligned reels

for Instagram (and Facebook where relevant) Publish a

minimum of 4 reels + 1 post per week

Maintain a

clean, consistent visual look

across Instagram and Facebook (feed, posters, tone) Design

up to 3 posters

when required Track content performance (reach, engagement, saves) and adjust content accordingly Suggest

when and where

boosting reels or using posters makes sense, based on performance Run basic ads (primarily

boosting reels

, monitoring progress and results) Coordinate with the company on ongoing marketing needs Contribute ideas toward

simple, practical marketing techniques

(nothing complex or agency-level) Attend

one weekly check-in meeting

to discuss performance, ideas, and next steps Write and post

3-4 X (Twitter) updates per week

that engage with ongoing conversations while staying aligned with the brand tone

What This Role Is NOT:

Not a full-time marketing strategist role Not responsible for paid ad funnels, complex analytics, or sales strategy Not expected to work beyond the agreed time

Qualifications:

No formal qualifications required

Students are welcome to apply Must understand reels, trends, hooks, and audience behaviour Basic sense of design and visual consistency Ability to take feedback and work independently Familiarity with basic tools like Instagram insights, Canva, or similar is a plus Applicants may be asked to share a reel, page, or sample work
