Freelance Performance Marketing Specialist

Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced Freelance Performance Marketing & Social Media Specialists to execute comprehensive digital marketing projects on a completion-based payment structure. Each project will have defined deliverables, timelines, and success metrics. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven professional with proven expertise in managing paid digital campaigns, organic social media strategy, and delivering measurable ROI/ROAS outcomes across both paid and organic channels.
Project Types & Scope:
1. Campaign Setup & Launch Projects
Develop and launch comprehensive paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, X Ads, and other platforms
Complete audience research, keyword analysis, and competitive assessment
Set up tracking mechanisms, pixels, and UTM parameters
2. Campaign Optimization Projects
Audit and optimize existing campaigns for improved performance
Implement A/B testing strategies (ad copy, creatives, targeting, landing pages)
Restructure campaigns for better budget allocation and bid management
3. Performance Analysis & Strategy Projects
Comprehensive campaign performance analysis using GA4, platform analytics, and data visualization tools
Strategic recommendations report with actionable insights
Budget forecasting and pacing optimization plans
4. Social Media Strategy & Management Projects
Develop comprehensive organic social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube)
Create content calendars, posting schedules, and community management guidelines
Social media audit and competitor analysis with actionable recommendations
5. Content Creation & Social Media Execution Projects
Design and execute social media content (posts, stories, reels, carousels)
Community management including engagement, response management, and follower growth strategies
Influencer outreach and collaboration coordination
6. Integrated Marketing Campaign Projects
Full-funnel marketing campaigns combining paid ads and organic social media
Cross-platform content syndication and amplification strategies
Brand awareness campaigns with both paid and organic components
7. Full Campaign Management Projects
End-to-end campaign management
Includes paid ads setup, social media management, daily optimization, reporting, and performance improvement
Regular stakeholder presentations and strategic consultations
Required Qualifications:
Essential Experience:
4-6 years of proven performance marketing experience, preferably with Indian digital market exposure
Demonstrable track record of successful project completions with measurable results
Portfolio showcasing campaign performance improvements and ROI achievements
Platform Expertise (Must Have):
Google Ads: Search, Display, YouTube, Shopping, Discovery, Performance Max (Certification required)
Meta Ads Manager: Facebook & Instagram advertising (Meta Blueprint certification preferred)
LinkedIn Campaign Manager: B2B campaign experience
Google Analytics (GA4): Advanced setup, tracking, and analysis capabilities
Additional Skills (Highly Valued):
X (Twitter) Ads management
Programmatic advertising (DV360, other DSPs)
E-commerce/Retail Media advertising
SEO/SEM tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner)
Google Tag Manager (GTM)
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
Social Media Management Expertise:
Content Creation: Proficiency in design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma)
Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube algorithms and best practices
Community Management: Experience in audience engagement, customer service, and reputation management
Content Strategy: Ability to develop content pillars, brand voice, and storytelling frameworks
Analytics: Proficiency in native platform analytics (Instagram Insights, Facebook Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.)
Scheduling Tools: Experience with social media management platforms (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Later)
Influencer Marketing: Network building, outreach, and campaign coordination experience
Core Competencies:
Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making approach
Expertise in performance marketing KPIs (CPC, CPM, CTR, CPA, CPL, ROAS, Conversion Rate) and social media metrics (Engagement Rate, Reach, Impressions, Follower Growth, Brand Mentions)
A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization
Budget management and forecasting for both paid advertising and content creation
Creative thinking and content ideation capabilities
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
Ability to work independently and meet strict project deadlines
Understanding of brand building and community management principles
