Role Overview
We are looking for a Freelance HR Consultant to support our people operations, hiring, and HR compliance on a project or retainer basis. The role focuses on building structured HR processes while remaining flexible and scalable for a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment (sourcing, screening, interviews, onboarding)
Draft and maintain HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks
Handle payroll coordination, attendance, and leave management
Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, labour laws, contracts)
Support performance management frameworks and appraisal cycles
Address employee queries and basic grievance handling
Advise management on HR best practices and workforce planning
Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree in HR, Psychology, Management, or related field
Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and HR compliance
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Experience working with startups or SMEs preferred
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
