Role Overview
We're looking for a
Business Development Manager (BDM)
who will drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong franchise partnerships, and expanding market reach. The BDM will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing strategic plans, and supporting overall business expansion--especially in tier 2 and tier 3 cities where doorstep auto care is gaining momentum.
Key Responsibilities
Style:
Handle incoming enquiries
from prospective Financial Representatives (FRs) and
convert interested callers into active FR owners
through effective communication, qualification, and follow-up.
Nurture FR leads
from first contact to onboarding, addressing queries, sharing business opportunities, and guiding them through the conversion process.
Take ownership of
FR sales funnel
, from enquiry to closure -- ensuring prospects are well-informed, motivated, and successfully onboarded as FRs.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, franchise partners, and regional expansion channels
Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, franchisees, and partners
Execute strategies for lead generation, pitching, negotiations, and closing deals
Track performance metrics and provide regular reports to management
Coordinate with the marketing team to align branding and lead-generation campaigns
Represent Pexa at industry events, expos, or roadshows when required
Ensure seamless onboarding and support for new franchise partners
Monitor competitor activity and recommend business development strategies accordingly
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in
Sales

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Experience in the

sector is preferred
Bachelor's degree in

Must be willing to travel for business expansion and franchise visits
Proficiency in CRM tools and lead tracking software is a plus
