Position Overview
As a Franchise Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying prospective franchisees, cultivating relationships with potential partners, and guiding them through the franchise discovery and onboarding process. You will collaborate closely with the franchise sales team, marketing department, and other key stakeholders to develop and execute effective franchise development strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential markets and territories for franchise expansion, utilizing market analysis and demographic data to assess viability and potential opportunities.
- Develop and implement lead generation strategies to attract qualified franchise candidates, including outreach campaigns, networking events, and targeted advertising efforts.
- Qualify leads through initial contact and screening, conducting preliminary interviews to assess candidate fit and alignment with company values and franchise requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective franchisees, providing information, guidance, and support throughout the discovery process and decision-making journey.
- Coordinate franchise discovery meetings, presentations, and site visits, presenting franchise opportunities and addressing candidate questions and concerns.
- Collaborate with legal and operations teams to prepare franchise agreements, disclosure documents, and other legal documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of franchise agreements, working to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and franchise partners.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new franchisees, coordinating training, orientation, and ongoing support to ensure successful launch and operation of franchise locations.
- Maintain accurate records of all franchise leads, contacts, and interactions in CRM system, tracking progress and performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness of franchise development efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in franchise development, sales, or business development, preferably in the franchising or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of franchise sales process and best practices, including lead generation, qualification, and closing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge of franchise laws, regulations, and industry standards preferred.
- Willingness to travel as needed to attend meetings, conferences, and industry events.
