About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated FPGA Engineer to join our advanced hardware design team.
This role involves end-to-end FPGA design, verification, and optimization for high-performance applications.
The position requires deep expertise in RTL coding, simulation, and FPGA implementation flows, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
o Design, implement, and optimize FPGA-based solutions for high-performance and real-time systems.
Write, simulate, and verify RTL code (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog).
Perform functional verification, debugging, and testbench development using industry-standard simulators.
Run complete FPGA development flows including synthesis, place & route, timing closure, and resource optimization.
Integrate FPGA modules with embedded processors, microcontrollers, and external interfaces.
Work on communication protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, SPI, I2C, AXI, etc.
Collaborate closely with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams for product integration.
Generate design documentation, specifications, and test reports.
Research and evaluate emerging FPGA technologies, IP cores, and development tools to drive innovation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
2-6 years of hands-on experience in FPGA design and verification.
Strong knowledge of VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog
. o Proficiency with FPGA vendor toolchains such as Xilinx Vivado / ISE, Intel Quartus, or Lattice Diamond.
Experience with simulation tools (ModelSim, QuestaSim, XSIM, etc.).
Solid understanding of digital design fundamentals, clock domain crossing, and timing analysis.
Exposure to communication protocols (PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, AXI, SPI, I2C).
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and simulation waveforms. Preferred (Good to Have)
Experience in high-speed and low-latency FPGA design (e.g., trading systems, DSP, or signal processing).
Knowledge of C/C++ or Python for test automation and FPGA/software integration
. o Familiarity with embedded systems (ARM, RISC-V, MicroBlaze, Nios II). o Experience with SystemVerilog UVM or similar verification methodologies.
