Role Overview





We are looking for a strategic, experienced, and highly motivated finance leader to head the FP&A function for Capco India. The role requires a hands-on professional who can partner with business and finance leadership to drive decision-making through robust financial planning, insightful analysis, and actionable reporting. The Head of FP&A will also lead a high-performing team, groom FP&A talent, and work closely with our global finance community.

Key Responsibilities





Financial Planning & Analysis


Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

Analyze actual performance versus plan, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.

Prepare management commentary, business review decks, deal reviews, and profitability analysis.

Perform scenario modeling, cost analysis, and financial impact assessments to guide strategic decisions.

Support pricing and project profitability analysis to optimize business performance.


Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management


Act as a trusted partner to leadership teams, providing financial insights to influence strategic decisions.

Collaborate with business units to understand operational drivers and align FP&A output with organizational goals.

Support cross-border FP&A initiatives and global finance programs within Capco.


Systems & Process Improvement


Lead the use of Anaplan and other reporting/forecasting tools for efficient planning and analysis.

Drive ERP integration, automation, and reporting standardization to improve FP&A effectiveness.

Introduce best practices in FP&A processes, metrics, and reporting frameworks.


Team Leadership & Development


Manage and mentor the FP&A team, building a high-performing function aligned with business priorities.

Develop FP&A capabilities and career paths for team members in a consulting environment.

Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience


Chartered Accountant (CA) with 12+ years of post-qualification experience in FP&A or finance leadership roles, preferably in consulting, professional services, or complex matrix organizations.

Strong experience with Anaplan or equivalent financial planning systems.

Demonstrated ability to lead a team and deliver actionable insights to senior stakeholders.

Strong analytical, modeling, and financial storytelling skills.

Experience in project finance (deal analysis and consulting-specific metrics is highly desirable).

* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
