Overall Purpose of The Job
Support Group and V.Ships FP&A activity by providing accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights to drive strategic decision-making across the organisation.
Collaborate with the V.Ships finance team and central finance teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and performance reports that align with corporate objectives.
Enhance the development of business intelligence and data utilisation across V.Group.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Produce regular and ad-hoc reports, including KPIs, dashboards, and variance analyses, to support business performance monitoring.
Produce timely and accurate reporting to a regular cycle, including monthly flash reporting, board reporting,
Prepare and consolidate annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans for multiple business units.
Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and key drivers to provide actionable recommendations or commercial insight.
Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis, strategic initiatives, and investment decisions.
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment of financial plans with operational goals.
Assist in implementing and improving FP&A processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Essential
Qualified accountant or interest in working towards professional accounting qualification (or relevant post-graduate qualification from Tier 2 College/University) with 2-3 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated commercial awareness, and an interest in understanding and explaining the commercial context of accounting information.
Exceptional presentation skills.
Computer literacy: Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint, Word, HFM or similar consolidation tools.
Comfortable dealing with large datasets, with respect to data organisation and identifying key messages.
