Shift Supervisor Responsibilities:

Assign staff members to shifts. Assign tasks to staff members. Supervise fettling workers (grinders, chippers). Ensure castings are cleaned and finished as per quality standards Allocate daily work and monitor production output. Maintain safety and cleanliness in the fettling area. Check tools and arrange maintenance as needed. Train workers on proper fettling methods. Report daily production, rejections, and manpower status.

Shift Supervisor Requirements:

Experience working in manufacturing in Foundry Devision. Natural leadership abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of health and safety protocols. Excellent time management skills. Ability to problem-solve. Ability to multitask.
